Who we are
This website is operated by Jardin d’Anna Ltd, the developer of Anna City, Sunset Avenue, Anna, Flic en Flac, Mauritius. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at admin@cheekhooree.com or on +230 673 16 87.
What we collect and why
We only collect personal data when you send us an enquiry through the contact form. The form asks for your first and last name, mobile number, email address, preferred visit day, the type of residence and floor you are interested in, and an optional message. We use these details only to reply to your enquiry, arrange a visit and follow up on it. Our legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form, and the steps you ask us to take before a possible purchase.
Like any website, our hosting provider records technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in server logs used for security and to keep the site running.
Who receives your data
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. It is shared only with the service providers that run this website for us: our web host, Hostinger, which stores the site and its logs, and Site Mailer by Elementor, which delivers form enquiries to our inbox. Where we work with a sales partner on your enquiry, such as our appointed estate agent, we share only what they need to help you, and only with your agreement.
Some of these providers may process data outside Mauritius. Where they do, we rely on their contractual safeguards to protect it to an equivalent standard.
Cookies and third-party content
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and it loads nothing from third parties when you browse it: our fonts are served from our own server. The contact page offers a Google map that only loads if you choose to show it. When you do, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, as described in the Google Privacy Policy.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, so we can answer follow-up questions about the development. If you go on to reserve or buy a residence, we keep your details for as long as the law requires for that transaction. Server logs are kept for a short period set by our host.
Your rights
Under the Mauritius Data Protection Act 2017, and the GDPR where it applies to you, you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, and withdraw your consent at any time. Email us at admin@cheekhooree.com and we will reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Office in Mauritius.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection, access to it is restricted to named administrators, and enquiries are sent only to our own inbox.
